Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Video Exchange 📽️

Time to get to know each other a little better! 👋

In this stage, you’ll watch a short intro video from Rachel, our hiring manager, so you can get to know her and learn a little more about the role. She’ll then ask you a few questions about how you’d approach challenges you might face at Zinc. We’re keen to hear how you think, how you tackle problems and what you’d bring to the team, so talk us through your approach and let your personality shine! ✨ No need to overthink it or have all the perfect answers. We’re excited to get to know the person behind the CV! 🚀

📆 Videos to be requested from application ➡️ 6th November.

This is your chance to ask loads of questions you have about the role and Zinc. During this meeting, the focus will be on exploring how well the role aligns with your goals and needs. They’ll also delve deeper into your aspirations to determine if this opportunity is the right fit for you. 🌷

Bel will then support and guide you through every step of your interview journey with us at Zinc. ⚡️

📆 This will take place during the w/c 2nd November.
Stage 3

Google Meets Interview 💻

This is your chance to meet Rachel and either Max or Sian from the Demand Gen team over google meets⚡️

They will seek to gain a deeper understanding of your expertise and experience as it relates to the key aspects outlined in the job description.

This is an amazing opportunity to gain loads of intel, find out about them, their experience and all the nitty gritty of the role, so come prepared with lots of questions! 📚

📆 These are 30 mins on Google Meets and they will take place from 9th ➡️ 20th November.
Stage 4

Final In-Person Interview 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️

This will be a 90-minute, in-person interview at our Old Street office with three members of the Zinc team, including a task related to the role. We’ll share more details about the task and format closer to the time, but all questions will be focused on the role and what’s outlined in the job spec. In terms of preparation, we recommend revisiting the job spec, thinking about examples from your past experience that showcase your skills, and considering what you really want from your next role. Most importantly, bring plenty of questions for us, too! 💬 This is your chance to get to know us just as much as we get to know you. 🚀
